Archive for April, 2009
At first I had planned to make Art Leads a web application, but I have realized that it makes more sense and will be more useful as a desktop application.
The first thing I need to do is to update the database. I began the update process on Monday April, 27. It will most likely take me the rest of the week to complete the update process.
Currently the database holds upwards of 100,000 Art world professional contact information to aid you in approaching a Gallery, finding a job, find avenues to sell your art, submit a press release, secure a commission, and various other “need to accomplish” tasks.
I first began this project when I took note of the inflated prices of art mailing lists on the web. Prices range from ten cents a name to a few hundred dollars per list for one time use on other sites. I was appalled and saw the need to create a much more affordable solution. Enter “Art Leads”
I after I have finished updating the database the software compilation can begin.
This database will include:
- Gallery Owners
- Museums
- Interior Designers
- Book Publishers
- Giclee Printers
- Art restoration
- Art Managers and Representatives
- and many others.
I hope to be finished updating the database by no later then Monday May 4th. Scheduled release date for “Art Leads” is tentatively May 21st.
To be notified of the official release please stay tuned.

After much needed consideration we have decided to change LiqWidArt’s format.
Once a community based website after struggling with server difficulties we decided to change the format so that we could concentrate on other LiqWidArt communities and providing you with much needed tools and resources.
Please be patient as we try to make the transition as smooth as possible and include relevant links to other LiqWidArt activities.
Thank you so much!
